In 1946, George Orwell introduced “Animal Farm: A Fairy Story”. The subtitle was something he later discarded. However, in our 2024 senior school production, we are well and truly claiming back the subtitle to bring you a fairytale reimagining like no other.

Set aside any preconceived notions of Animal Farm’s typical themes. Imagine Quentin Blake’s evocative illustrations, the bold energy of punk rock, and the avant-garde designs of Vivienne Westwood highlighting the sobering reality of power’s corrupting influence.

Our rendition of Animal Farm transcends the conventional idea of ‘fairy tale’, delving into darker, more complex narratives of betrayal and manipulation – there are no Disney adaptations around here. Prepare for an immersive theatrical experience that combines the sophistication of Orwell’s iconic storytelling with the rebellious spirit of punk rock.
