While school reopened to all year levels on 25 May, many of our Years 7 to 10 boarders have not been able to return to the College due to AHPPC restrictions on the reopening of boarding schools. While these boys continue to access their learning online, they want to return to the College and we want them back on campus. BBC Headmaster Paul Brown wrote to state government and public health authorities when school resumed last month asking them to consider the educational and wellbeing needs of these students and allow them to return to school. We support an urgent review of the AHPPC advice and it is our fervent wish that this matter is resolved in the best interests of rural and regional boarders by the end of this term to enable every BBC boy to be back on campus ‘As One’ from the beginning of the new term.
