This traditional Christian service comprises of nine Biblical readings, recounting the story of Jesus Christ coming to Earth. Each reading is followed by a corresponding Carol which provides a musical reflection on the Biblical text. Nine Lessons and Carols originated in England in 1918 and is conducted around the world every year as a reverent Christmas Service.
