At BBC, a boy’s first day in Year 7 presents an opportunity to foster new connections and set the tone for the year ahead as boys retreat to the outdoors for a unique Outdoor Education experience.

Our Year 7 Outdoor Education program is specifically designed to promote and inspire positive relationships, while encouraging students to expand their comfort zones, prepare and redefine personal possibilities, gain confidence, think critically and creatively, and demonstrate ethical understanding and compassion. It acts as an important rite of passage with the activities symbolic of boys’ growing independence as Middle School students.

On their return to campus, our Year 7 students participated in a war cry, led by our 2021 Leaders.
